All consultations are by appointment only.

If you feel that you need a same day/emergency appointment, please advise Reception Staff of this, preferably when the surgery opens at 08.30am.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we may give your appointment slot to someone else.

You may order your prescription, email, post or in person.

Your Pharmacist may also request it for you. For safety reasons, we kindly ask that all prescription requests are given in writing- this is to avoid medication errors.

Please allow three days’ notice for your routine request to be completed, bearing in mind weekends and bank holidays.

A charge of 25 euro applies for all repeat prescriptions without a consultation (this does not apply to medical card holders.)

Occasionally a Doctor may request that you attend for a review or blood test or blood pressure check before your medications can safely be dispensed. Patients on regular medications may be asked to see a Doctor or Nurse at least once a year for a review.

We encourage our patients to attend the surgery for consultations, where we have all the necessary equipment and staff.

However, we recognise that sometimes this is not possible.

If you feel you or a loved one needs a housecall, please let Reception Staff know, preferably before 10am

Your Doctor will visit you at home if they feel that your medical condition requires it. They will also assess how urgently a housecall is needed and may advise you to attend the Emergency Department if necessary.
